Amsterdam Fashion Week | Doorhout Mees & Marga Weimans

Dorhout Mees. Last Fashion Week she showed her collection for the 2nd time, which was called Conversion this time. Really liked this A/W 2013/2014 collection and it was very impressive to look at. Dorhout Mees was inspired by oxidation. She made a wonderful collection full of cream, gray, orange and rust colors and other special prints. I especially loved the details as the arm cuffs and the 'cuff' around the waist.

The last show of the Fashion Week was Marga Weimans with the collection Body Archive. I haven't got really sharp photos of the show, because it didn't work out very well with the lights, unfortunately. And it was just too impressive to watch at with all the extravagant outfits, like the structures as jackets. Maybe an idea for Lady Gaga haha? Honestly, I can't say that the collection is my kind of style (and wearable of course), it's more something like art. I really liked the graphic prints tough and the idea of broad shoulders, which have a leading role in her collection. What was your favorite show of AFW 2013? I'm curious to know it.
